Dolce Vita Studio LLC

Dear valued Dolce Vita guest, Thank you for choosing Dolce Vita Studio for your chemical service. We pride ourselves on our high level of skill, as well as our long lasting relationships with our guests. Here is some important information, as well as some tips that can make your chemical service results more successful: 1) Chemical services can have varying results based on your individual hair. It is extremely important that you make your stylist aware of any and all other processes you have used on your hair so that your stylist can assist you in an informed decision. *** Please be aware that your hair grows, on average, ½ inch per month. With an approximate 6 inch per year growth rate, chemical services you had done two, sometimes even three years ago can still affect the outcome of your current service. 2) Many factors play a part in the way your hair will react to a chemical service. In rare cases, it is unpredictable and may cause your service to turn out in a way that was not what was discussed or intended. If any of the following apply to you, please be aware of this possibility. It is absolutely vital that you talk to your stylist about each one that applies to you! • The type of water you use at home (well water, hard water, etc.); • Medications you are taking; • Previous chemical services (perm, color-especially Henna, keratin, etc) from the last one to three years, depending on length of hair; • Hormonal changes (especially pregnancy and menopause); • The products that you use at home, or lack of products used. *** Your stylist has informed you of any risk of damage that could result from the requested service, and you still want that service, Dolce Vita will not be held responsible. 3) If you are here to have a color fixed that was performed at a different salon or at your own house ,our stylists will not be liable for the outcome. Our first priority is the integrity of the hair and because we are not privy to the full process and products used, we cannot guarantee your hair will be exactly what you originally wanted. However, we will do our best to begin the process of achieving your end goal, which may take more than one appointment. But if at the end no your not satisfied how you look,we do not take responsibility, the work was done,if you wish to alter the color there will be an extra charge. 4) Your clothes may be exposed to the chemicals despite our best efforts to protect them. If you would prefer, you can dress down into a smock to avoid this risk. 5)Reds/Vibrant Colors •Maintenance The first thing to know before going red/Vibrant colors is how high-maintenance the color is and how expensive it can be to maintain it. Roots will reappear every 2-4 weeks or so and red dye is infamous for fading fast. You’ll have to dip back into the salon roughly every 2-6 weeks for a refresh on your color. •Fade Prevention With every wash, red/vibrant colors hair dye fades. So you should wait at least three days after a fresh dye before you wash your hair. Waiting ensures that the cuticle closes, and stays closed. With every shampoo, the hair cuticle swells, and red dye molecules slip out. Shampoos and conditioners for color-treated hair can help prevent too much color loss. You can also use color-deposit shampoos for an extra pop when your color grows dull. •Get used to cold showers Hot water opens the hair cuticles and makes the color fade even faster. If you can stand it, opt for cold showers. You’ll protect your color ***We want you to feel comfortable contacting Dolce Vita at any time after your service for any questions or concerns. We strive to ensure each and every client is satisfied with their services. Salon Policy Absolutely NO REFUNDS ON DEPOSITS OR SERVICES SURVEILLANCE CAMERA IS ON PREMISES
